Children Protection

WE ALL PLAY A ROLE IN ADDRESSING SEXUAL VIOLENCE

We imagine a future where no child experiences sexual harassment, grooming, or any form of sexual violence. We support victims, survivors, and their families impacted by childhood sexual violence.

We will achieve this by building the capacity of educational institutions to end sexual violence through ongoing, expansive organizational change.

Our programs and workshops guide institutions as they support survivors, prevent sexual violence, and communicate that violence is unacceptable.

Our Progress

Our approach

Students Education

Wounded Healers Kenya collaborates with nearby schools to educate students on preventing sexual violence, understanding human rights laws, and fostering a culture of non-violence within their communities.

Our primary goal is to enhance students' awareness of forms of sexual violence, equip them with the skills to offer support to one another and encourage them to seek assistance when needed.

Through these programs, students are empowered with preventive strategies and educate them on the importance of reporting instances of abuse.

Parents & Caregivers Involvement to Prevent sexual violence

Our programs actively involve parents and caregivers in preventing sexual violence.

We offer skills of how to educate children about consent, healthy relationships, and boundaries from an early age.

The parents and caregivers in our community leads in advocating for comprehensive sexual education in schools and actively engage with community resources to access support services and preventive measures.
