Our Program Structure
Vocational Training – 3-Month Intensive (Per Cohort)
Hands-on vocational training that prepares participants for employment or self-employment.
Examples include:
- Tailoring and garment making
- Beauty therapy
- Computer literacy
- Other market-driven vocational skills
Pathway support after graduation: internships, apprenticeships, job placement, or further study.
Formal Adult Education – 2-Year Program
Government-accredited adult education for girls and young women who left school, preparing them to complete their primary or secondary education and sit for national examinations.
- Focused on completing primary or secondary school.
- Follows Kenya National Examination Council curriculum.
- Tailored for young mothers and adolescent girls.
- Flexible pace and personalized teacher support.
Economic Empowerment Workshops
Practical training that helps participants build and manage sustainable livelihoods.
Topics include:
- Financial literacy
- Business management
- Entrepreneurship
- Savings and budgeting
- Child nutrition
- Child safety
- Parenting education
- Leadership and life skills
Community Library
A safe and inclusive learning space that promotes literacy, independent learning, and academic success. The library provides access to books, educational resources, study support, and a quiet environment for children, adolescents, and community members to read, learn, and prepare for school and examinations.
Our Impact so far
By combining formal education, vocational training, economic empowerment, and access to lifelong learning, the Learning Center equips adolescent mothers and young women with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve economic independence.
Participants are better prepared to complete their education, secure employment, start businesses, improve their financial well-being, and create stable futures for themselves and their children.
