Josephine became a volunteer social worker at Wounded Healers in 2019 because she firmly believed in the organization's mission to end sexual violence. Her goal was to support survivors throughout their healing and justice journey.
As the Program Director, Josephine leads a team of passionate and talented individuals. Her role is instrumental in ensuring the organization's programmatic success and managing budgets for impactful outcomes.
Josephine is dedicated to ending gender-based violence and creating safe communities for all. Her extensive experience in the field has allowed her to design and implement innovative programs that address the root cause of violence and empower survivors. She holds a higher social work and community development diploma from MT Kenya University.
In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
