Wounded Healer's social enterprise, Peace, is a critical component of our Job Training program for young Moms. Shop our handmade products that light the way to new possibilities for young moms and our communities.
Peace Social Enterprise brings the mission of the City of Peace to life.
Through this initiative, young mothers in our paid training program craft beautiful, handmade Kitenges, all while building essential skills, confidence, and career opportunities. Our program offers free classroom and hands-on training, creating a supportive space that prepares participants for successful employment.
100% proceeds from Peace Enterprise go directly to the City of Peace Safe House, providing safe housing, childcare, job training, and family support for teen mothers.
Hiring New Moms’ graduates supports the well-being of our entire community. As graduates gain work experience they move toward economic independence and become strong role models for their kids and their peers.
As a partner in this work, you help to construct the foundations for thriving families and communities.
